A: If your current web hosting provider can no longer match the requirements of your web site, or if you experience regular network downtime, or if you are made to wait for hours for the support staff to get back to you, it may be a good idea to switch your hosting provider, i.e. to transfer all the files for your websites as well as your databases from your present provider to your new provider. At Click2Connect, we are aware that this can be difficult & time–consuming. That’s why we will perform all that for you at no cost!Our competent technical team will migrate your website content from your current hosting provider to us. Our techs have lots of experience migrating web sites and can handle anything – from a standard WordPress weblog or Joomla^™ site, to an extremely complex, custom–made application.

A: While we can’t give you a precise time interval, since there are a lot of factors, including the size of the web files and databases, the location of the present host’s server, the complexity of your website and the current workload of our Website Migration Department, etc., we’ll do our very best to transfer your web site within 48 hours, and in certain cases – within 24 hours (if the website content is not very large).

A: Yup. We’ll require the name of the website that you want us to migrate. We will also require a way to log in to your present web hosting account so that we can get the files pertaining to your web site.

A: Before we can start the migration of your hosting account, you must already have an account with us. Opening an account with us will require that you to share the exact same info you have given to your present web host. We’ve also got a very strict Privacy Policy, which describes how personal info is tackled.

A: Your website will work just like it did before with your previous hosting provider. After we are done with the migration, your site will be configured to work on our hosting platform and we will ask you to preview it. If everything is working correctly, all you will have to do is change the NS records pertaining to your domain. Your site will be transferred over to us without any downtime whatsoever.

A: No. We will never contact your hosting provider about anything at all. They will not be aware of the website transfer either.

A: We can transfer your website from any web hosting provider or any Linux–powered web hosting platform so long as we can obtain access to the Control Panel and there is FTP access available.The only websites that we’re unable to transfer are the ones based on closed–source software apps like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
